Why use LandSteward?

BPS payments are reducing every year. ELM schemes are the replacement. Understanding your options is the first step.

What is SFI? The Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) is a government scheme that pays English farmers for taking actions that support the environment — things like improving soil health, managing hedgerows, and creating habitats for wildlife.

What are ELM schemes? Environmental Land Management (ELM) is the umbrella for SFI, Countryside Stewardship, and Landscape Recovery. Together they replace the EU Basic Payment Scheme and reward land management that delivers public goods. LandSteward helps you navigate what you qualify for and how much you could earn.
